The Green Block project, started in 2019, showcases EIGHT storm water interventions; THREE solar powered homes, a reforestation with bio-retention cells to uptake water from torrential rain events and a community solar powered bench for use to charge phones and other portable devices during emergencies and post disaster events. To date, this initiative has since grown in scale and beyond the 1800 block of Duels Street, in the 7th Ward of New Orleans.
